TROY - Nancy L. Lauber, age 94, of Troy, Ohio passed away on March 6, 2025. She was born on July 9, 1930, in Troy to the late David Russell and Ethel Marie (Snyder) Shoop.
She is survived by her three daughters: Vikki (David) Tennant, Cindy (Larry) Gustin and Jennifer (Scott) Lade all of Troy; grandchildren: Angie (Nick) Bush, JoLynn Scalice, Justin Miller, Dani Lade, Todd (Jennifer) Tennant, David (Molly) Tennant, Amanda Lauber and Michael Lauber; great grandchildren: Hailey (Matthew) Key, Kaitlyn Walters, Brandon Walters, Anthony Scalice, Matthew Scalice, Jack Tennant, Kyle Tennant, Paige Tennant and Jack Michael Lauber; great great grandchildren: McKenna Key, Corbin Key and Roselyn Walters; sister: Janet Hufford and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jack E. Lauber; son: Jack M. Lauber; granddaughter: Holli Tennant and siblings: Billie Harper, Jean Conrad, Katie Gilliam, George Shoop and Karen Wagner.
Nancy was a 1948 graduate of Miami Central High School. She was a graduate of cosmetology school. She was employed with Fulton Farms for 36 years and enjoyed many years raising her kids and grandkids. She loved flowers, cooking for her family, celebrating Christmas, going to Tennessee, watching the Cincinnati Reds and Dayton Flyers and most of all, being with her family.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment to follow in Casstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday. In honor of Nancy, the family invites everyone to wear pink.
