TROY - Paul James Maloney of Troy, Ohio passed away on June 20, 2021. His loving wife, Dolores of 54 years preceded him. He was born on April 8, 1937 in Niles Ohio to the Late William T. and Alice M. (Hamilton) Maloney.
His brothers William T. and Thomas J. as well as sister Dolores (Maloney) Corey preceded him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many and will be missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his three children: Kathleen Maloney Hauser (James) of Springboro, OH, Dr. Brian Paul Maloney (Diane) of Atlanta, Paul Thomas Maloney (Julie) of Houston, MN and his five beloved grandchilden: Michael Hauser, Tara Dantzler, Meghan Campbell, Kaitlyn Hauser, and McKenzie Maloney; two great-grandsons: Aiden and Vincent Dantzler and two granddogs: Murphy and Bob Maloney.
Paul graduated from St. Mary's High School in Warren, OH and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Institute of Technology (now Case Western) where he met his beautiful and loving wife Dolores. He spent most of his business career in international sales and marketing in the metal working machinery field concluding with positions in corporate management.
Paul was active member of St. Christopher Parish and served as a lector and Eucharist distributor. He embodied his Irish heritage and would put a smile on your face with a story. He would go out of his way to help a friend in need.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church in Wilson, MN .
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Christopher Church, 405 E. National Rd., Vandalia, OH 45377.
