TROY - Robert L. "Bob" Allison, age 77, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at his residence. He was born on May 22, 1945, in Dayton, to the late James M. and Alice (Koon) Allison.
Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years: Sharon (Hart) Allison; two children: Amy (Chris) Madigan and Bobby (Crystal) Allison, both of Troy; grandchildren: Alex and Allison Madigan, Sam Madigan, Kaitlyn Allison, Jacob Allison, Austin, Delaney and Hensley Eidemiller; siblings: Melinda, Rosemary, Jim, Skip, Doug, Deborah, Russ, Tim, Martha and Don; and special friends: Dan Dalton family and Charlie Brown family.
Bob worked at White Allen Chevrolet for 50 years. He was P.E.R. of the Troy Elks #833 and a trustee for the organization. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed cold beer and golfing, Little League Baseball coaching and being an honorary Troy football cheerleader. Bob loved a good breakfast at K's.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
