Robert Jacomet Obituary

TROY - Robert E. "Jake" Jacomet, age 91, of Troy, OH passed away on August 31, 2025, at his residence. He was born on June 11, 1934, in Troy to the late Robert G. and Irene A. (Sharits) Jacomet.

Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years: Dorothy M. (Vickroy) Jacomet of Troy; son: John (Carole) Jacomet; 1grandchild and 2 great grandchildren and brother: Ralph E. "Skip" Jacomet; brother-in-law: Henry Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother: James L. Jacomet and sister: Janet J. Jones.

Bob was a 1952 graduate of Troy High School and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Korean War. He retired from A.M. Graphics as an Assembly Supervisor after 31 years and was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. Bob loved baseball, playing as a youth and watching in later years.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington with Fr. Eric Bowman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Patrick Elementary School or Dayton Hospice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
