SOMERSET, PA - Shirley Louise Mullendore, 86, of Markleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 11, 2025.
She is a daughter of the late George R. and Jennie (Ely) James. Shirley is survived by her loving husband whom she just celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary with, James B. Mullendore; beloved children, Michael (Mona) Mullendore and Melissa (Larry) Vough; and grandchildren, Jacob (Karey) Vough, Abigail (Jared) Custer, Mason (Darcy) Mullendore, Leah (Douglas) Kersten and Mallorie (David) Macko. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Caleb, Alessaundra, Brooks, Amelia, Josiah, Adler and Michael; siblings, George (Janet) James and Carol (Paul) Iles; many loving nieces and nephews; and brother and sister-in-law, David and Shirley Mullendore. Shirley worked as a hairdresser for 15 years and also in retail. She enjoyed playing games, quilting, crocheting and reading. Shirley will always be remembered for her hospitality and love. She was a member of Kingwood Church of God. Friends and family will be received on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11 am at Kingwood Church of God, 119 Humbert Road, Markleton, PA 15551. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home & Crematory of Somerset.
