TROY - Thomas Eugene Robinson, age 93, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at StoryPoint in Troy, OH.
He was born on June 18, 1931, at home in Troy, OH, the son of Everett and Lillian (Thompson) Robinson.
He married Patricia A. Duke on June 20, 1953, at the First United Church of Christ in Troy, OH.
Thom had an enduring love for his hometown of Troy, OH. He took great pride in its people, always eager to share stories of its past or lend a hand in shaping its future. He found immense joy in contributing to the town he was so grateful to call home.
From humble beginnings, Thom understood the struggles of poverty. This instilled in him a deep appreciation for hard work, generosity, and the strength of community. Together, he and Pat believed that no one should face hardship alone-a principle that guided their lifelong commitment to philanthropy. Whether volunteering, supporting charities, or quietly helping a neighbor in need, he dedicated himself to uplifting others. For Thom, generosity was not an obligation-it was simply who he was. His legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those around him.
His family will remember him for his adventurous spirit, mischievous charm, steadfast leadership, and boundless generosity-qualities that made all who knew and loved him so proud. Thom wished to be remembered as the last you saw him.
The family would like to thank Story Point, Laurus Healthcare and Ohio's Hospice of Miami County for the amazing care and compassion given over the last few months.
