TROY - Thomas C. Zeigler, age 86, of Troy, OH, passed away on September 13, 2023, at Koester Pavilion.
He was born on October 31, 1936, in Mendon, OH, to the late Creighton S. and Ada M. (Nichols) Zeigler.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Nancy J. (Battson) Zeigler; sons: Thomas J. Zeigler of Mercer, WI, and Keith L. Zeigler of Troy; daughter: Diane K. Zeigler of Columbus; sisters: Mary Finnegan of Lakeside and Carol Welker of Troy; brothers: Paul C. Zeigler of Columbus and William J. Zeigler of Montezuma; grandson: Josh Zeigler of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: James G. Zeigler and David R. Zeigler; and sisters: Phyllis Gamble and Jo L. Mosier.
He was a graduate of Mendon-Union High School. He was employed with Hobart Corporation for 35 years. He was a former member of Troy Emergency Crew and he enjoyed fishing and blacksmithing.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
