PIQUA - Toyce Eloise Manseill, 69, of Piqua, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Toyce was born on April 19, 1954, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to the late Fred Brown Sr. and Jessie (Cape) Brown.
Toyce was an extremely quiet, but immensely thoughtful person who was always thinking about how she could help those around her. In her free time, Toyce was a very passionate and skilled crocheter and needle worker. In true fashion to herself, Toyce would quietly donate all her crafts to local charities and to the Union Baptist Church in Troy, Ohio where she was a member. In fact, every child that came through church found themselves with a warm, lovingly knitted hat each winter.
Toyce is survived by her daughter, Angela Dean; sons, Ryan (Jennifer) Stegall and Patrick Stegall; grandchildren, Alex, Kole, and Isabella Stegall, and Collin, Caleb, Kennady and Casey Dean; brother, Fred Brown Jr. of Martinez, GA; sister, Joyce Cummings of Piqua; as well as her special friend and love of her life, her dog Katie.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clyde and Troy Brown; and twin sister, Floyce Bradley.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Union Baptist Church; 1833 E. Peterson Rd, Troy, Ohio.
Memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Berkheiser officiating.
