Agnes A. Deo, 92, of Snover, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in Huron County Medical Care Facility, Bad Axe. She was born November 19, 1931 in Winfield, WI the tenth of twelve children born to John and Lauretta (Cutsforth) Fuller. She married Robert Deo on January 31, 1950 in Argyle. He died November 16, 1995.
Agnes graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1949. She moved to Ubly with a friend in that same year to become a caretaker for an elderly woman. Agnes soon met Robert at a young adult church activity. They always loved square dancing together. Agnes was employed by Snover Stamping for several years. She then went on to work in the deli department at Jerry's Foodland in Sandusky and Erla's Food Center in Cass City. Agnes retired at the age of seventy-seven years. She was fond of Southern Gospel quartets and Christian music. Agnes was blessed with a green thumb. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her many plants. She faithfully attended church services in the methodist church and later, the First Baptist Church of Cass City.
Agnes is survived by her children: Penny (Jerry) Meredith of Snover, Paul (Sandra) Deo of Snover, Russell Deo of Snover; seven grandchildren: Paul (Tina) Deo II, Jim (Natalie) Deo, Leslie (Chad) Vogel, Trisha Deo, Tracy (David) Fisher, Angela (Dave) McArthur, Kathy (Tim) Taylor; great grandchildren: Madison, Kenny, Evan, Justin, Layla, Kaylee, Owen, Allison, Gage, Ty, Lane, Carly, Ava, Wes, Ezekiel, Mikayla (Brandon), Meredith (Michael), Cody, Hailey, Alana, Ethan, Alexis, Braydon, Logan, Elliahna; great-great grandchildren: Liam, Ewyn, Astrid, Lillian, Keaton, twins due in September; sister, Merna (Marvin) Mittlesteadt of Wonewoc, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; brothers: Lloyd, Johnny, Arthur, Ross, Oris, Ted, Ezra; sisters: Irene, Delores, Leota.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 in First Baptist Church of Cass City with Pastor Christian Wright officiating. Interment in Valley Cemetery, Ubly. Pallbearers for Mrs. Deo are Paul Deo II, Jim Deo, Chad Vogel, David Fisher, Dave McArthur, Tim Taylor. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cass City.
