Markel Klaska Obituary
Markel John Klaska, 73, of Bad Axe, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at McLaren Thumb Region Hospital in Bad Axe.
Mark was born October 30, 1948 in Harbor Beach to the late Chester and Donna (Tischendorf) Klaska. He attended Our Lady of Lake Huron School and Harbor Beach High School. After graduating he entered the US Army, serving two years overseas. On February 17, 1973 he married Shirley Siemen in Bad Axe.
Mark owned Mark's Cleaning Service, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, working at Wil-le Farms, spoiling his dog Oscar and spending time with his family.
Mark is survived by his wife Shirley; children Joe (Tracy) Holdwick, Julie (James) Carter, Shelley (Franklin) Ahearn, Jesse (Hope) Klaska and Jamie Klaska; grandchildren Courtney, Kayla, Kyle, James, Monica, Brandon and Dominic; great-grandchildren Liam, Lucas, Kylie, Scarlet and Jackson; siblings Lovdie Reyes, Doris Klaska, Chester Jr. (Lori) Klaska, Kim (Diane) Klaska and John Klaski. He was preceded in death by his step-mother Elouise Klaska, sisters Jean Klaska and Judy Klaski, and brothers Richard and Roger Klaski.
A memorial service will be 11:00am Monday, February 7th at Faith Gospel Tabernacle with Pastor Mike Beeler officiating. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Shirley, we are so saddened to hear of Mark´s passing. Nothing but good memories, remember his laugh and Greg remembers having a good chat with him at Wagner Park at one of the family reunions. Love hugs and prayers to everyone. Love Greg and Kathy

That´s a very nice picture of my brother in law mark. That´s the man I last seen some years back ! Very straight for word man. I will miss him so! He and his wife/ family are in our prayers! God bless. Love Tom and family
