Maureen Duggan Obituary

Maureen L. Duggan
Maureen Lorraine Duggan, 71 years old of Port Austin, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025 at Huron County Medical Care facility with her family by her side. She was born on August 11, 1953 to the late Henry and Thelma (McDonald) Gorang in Bad Axe.
Maureen and Dennis Duggan were married on May 18, 1974, Maureen was a wonderful wife and mother, and was known for being a very caring and loving person, always putting others before herself. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
Maureen is survived by her children; Denny ( Sheila) Duggan, Kristie (Todd) Armstrong, Tanya Pipes; brother Larry (Diane) Gorang; sister-in-law Belma Gorang, brother-in-law, John Hollister; grandchildren Dalton, Aedan, T.J., Andrew, Aiyanna, Allen, Harley, Frankie, Asher, Acacia, Achiyah and great-grandchild Gracelynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother William Gorang, In-laws; Walter and Dorothy Duggan, sister-in-law; Diana Hollister, brother-in-law; Fredrick Duggan.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Wilcox Park in Bad Axe. The family would like those that knew and loved Maureen to join them in remembering her and fellowshipping together.
Arrangements were handled by MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe.
