Norma M. Eilber, age 93 of Port Hope, passed away July 27, 2021 at Harbor Beach Community Hospital by her family. She was born on May 19, 1928 in Huron County to the late Thomas & Elsie (Ender) Gallarno. On April 21, 1951 she was united in marriage to Warren S. Eilber at the Port Hope United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2012. Norma attended Port Hope community Schools and graduated in 1946. She attended Delmar Cosmetology School. She owned and operated the Maple Lane Beauty Salon for 38 years. Norma was a member of the Port Hope United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking, baking and making flower arrangements. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and animal lover. Most importantly she dearly loved her Lord and family. Norma is survived by her son Gregg Eilber and his wife Terri Lynn of Caseville, daughter Paula Gust and her husband Michael of Port Hope, six grandchildren, Ashley Eilber, Blake Eilber, Shawn (Megan) Gust, Sam Eilber, Gregg Eilber Jr., and Kayla (Joshua) Lloyd and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Esther Tinsey, brothers: Bill, Harold, Lewis and Fred Gallarno. Funeral Services for Norma are Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 am at the Port Hope United Methodist Church, with Rev. Karen Kinney. Burial will follow in the Port Hope Cemetery. Visitation for Norma will be Friday, from 6-8 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Saturday will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am.
