Richard Lee Miller

Miller, Richard Lee 8/21/1943 - 8/30/2022 Age 79, of Lansing, Michigan formerly of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. He was born on August 21, 1943 in Jackson, Michigan. Richard was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John and Veronica Miller; brothers John, Raymond and Baby Joseph; and sisters, Marjorie Campbell and Rosemary Watson. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Anne Miller and numerous nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed. Richard graduated from St. John's Catholic High School, class of 1961. He was employed in Lansing for many years at Ferguson Plumbing & Heating and the Gage Company. He was a prolific reader and an avid fan of Michigan State Spartans Sports. Richard was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lansing for 60 years. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (711 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.) with the praying of the Rosary at 11:45 AM. Father Robert Pienta will be officiating the Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. John's Church on Friday, September 2 from 11:00-11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, please honor Richard's memory with a contribution to St. John's Catholic School.
