He is preceded in death by his parents Sewell Flanary and Lonnie Skaggs Flanary; siblings: Arthur and Oscar Flanary, Josephine Marshall, Christine Flanary, Otis Flanary, Judson Flanary (Bill), Foistteno Flanary (Buster), Inez Flanary, Mary Alice Flanary, Virginia Osborne, and Roy W. Flanary. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 55 years Ethel M. Flanary. Children: Myrtle Buis, Annette and Alphonso Reese of Detroit, MI, Patricia (Norell) Washington, Elmer Flanary Jr. and Sandy, and Twana Caffey of South Carolina. Grandchildren: Brian Flanary, Shaquia Jennifer Lopez, Anthony Flanary, Brandon Flanary, Tanika Flanary, Tiffany Flanary, Veronica Hounshel, Timothy Ison, Andronica Henson, Brooklyn Ison, Willie Caffey, Pordnijiah Flanary, and Brittany Caffey. Great Grandchildren: Brianica Flanary, Javondre Flanary, DeMarcus Flanary, Kalissa Flanary, Elijah Flanary, Tysean Carter Flanary, Keyana Wilson, Amaiya Flanary, Adreyan Trent, Nicholas Roman, James Roman, PJ Lloyd, Sydney Lloyd, Haylee Flanary, Nathan Wicks, Breanna F, Darius Taulbee, Tyson Valasquez, Alijah Flanary, Laziyah Swift, Lyndon Stewart, Aaliyah, Marley, Raliegh Long, Darius, Taulbee, and Kashmire Flanary. Siblings: Charles and Linda Flanary, Frank Flanary, and Henry Flanary. Dewayne's son: Jamarius Ison Special friend: Michael Ferguson Special Nephew: William Flanary Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Creech Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Greenhills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY. Pallbearers will be: Barry Goin, Enoch Huff, Jessie Brock, Robert Tucker, Joe Howard, and Jimmy Kinkade. Honorary pallbearers: JB Helms, Michael Rogers, Oscar Salazar, Carlos Lopez, William Brooks, and Orlando Darby. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Creech Funeral Home.
