Al and I have worked together for the past 8 years and there was never a time that I went to him for help that I didn't walk away learning something. His kind heated and caring personality mixed with wit and humor is something that I will never forget. He will truly and sorely be missed. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend his service but I wish to send my deepest condolences to his family, whom I know he cherished very much.

To Debbie, Al Jr and Carla, so very sorry for your loss. Many years ago, I first met Al and Debbie when I became friends with Al Jr., Max, Marion and Carla in the Portland school system. We also lived in close proximity of each other. I think it's ironic that I then became friends with Al and Debbie through the sport of bowling at Middletown Lanes some 10 to 12 years later. What I'll remember most about Al is how kind and straight forward he was. I wholeheartedly agree he was one of a kind. Our trips to Rutland, VT will never be the same without him. Rest in peace old friend. God Bless.
