Bea attended Middletown schools, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, and went on to attend, and graduate from, Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She was employed for many years with the Connecticut State Library Service and retired in 1989. Bea enjoyed travel and of note was introduced to and blessed by Pope Benedict on a trip to Rome. She was a founding member and past president of the Catholic Singles connected with St. Pius X parish in Middletown. She was especially fond of stopping for fudge at Hebert Candies in Sudbury, MA on her way to visiting her sister Helen in Chelmsford. I remember Bea so fondly having worked with her at the State Library. She was such a kind caring person. We also shared a bond as Bates alumni. You are all in my prayers.
