Brenda McFarlane Obituary
Brenda McFarlane (Holmes), aged 83, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, in Meriden, CT. Born on February 5, 1941, in Richford, VT, she was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Mary Holmes.
Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Paul McFarlane, and her brother, Charles "Chuckie" Holmes. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughter, Maryellen Allegretti; granddaughters, Rebekah and Nicole Allegretti; brother, Robert Holmes; and sister-in-law, Maria Holmes as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private service and celebration of her life for immediate family will be held at a later date in Plum Island MA to honor Brenda's life and legacy. Her gentle spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
