Deborah Lynn Ghezzi
Deborah Lynn Ghezzi, 67, of Middletown, passed away at Hartford Hospital on Sunday, February 2nd. Born in Hartford on May 16th, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Phyllis Allegretti. Debbie went to Cromwell High School, she then worked many years as a nurse's aide, then in 2015 through 2024, worked at Heritage Commons in Middletown as a maintenance person. The Ghezzi family at this time would like to thank all of the workers and residents of Heritage Commons for all of their support during this tough time. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of Hartford Hospital for their special care of my wife, Debbie.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald Ghezzi, and their son, Ron, Jr. She is also survived by her siblings, Raymond Allegretti and his wife Mary Ann, Shirley Stevens, Betty Aresco and her husband Benny, Rose Thomas and her husband Frank, Gene Allegretti and his wife Diane, Jim Allegretti and his wife Debbie, David Allegretti, Linda Allegretti, Michael Allegretti and his wife Evelyn, Bernie Balistro and her husband Dan, as well as sisters-in-law, Nancy Ahlquist and her husband Jon, Cheryl DaCosta, and Pamela Sessoms. She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Rogers.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15th, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. There are no calling hours. The Lastrina Family Funeral Home, 491 High St., Middletown, is in charge of arrangements.
