Elizabeth Bordonaro Obituary
August 16, 1942 - October 15, 2024
Elizabeth Ann Bordonaro, 82, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Life Care Center of Estero, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Formerly of Portland, CT, she had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1995. Elizabeth was born August 16, 1942 in Middletown, CT, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Smigel) Chandler.
Her career was spent in banking, retiring as a branch manager. She enjoyed traveling the world with her family and friends, and will be remembered for her love of jewelry. Elizabeth was an avid bowler, who also liked playing cards.
Survivors include her sister, Lorraine (Michael) Perrotti of Bonita Springs, FL; brother, Ronald Chandler of Bonita Springs, FL; nephew, Michael (Nancy) Bordonaro; niece, Loretta (Richard) Faraci; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bordonaro; brother, Raymond Chandler; and God son and nephew, Dean Bordonaro.
Funeral services will be held at a later date and will be announced. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.ShikanyFuneralHome.com . Arrangements are being handled by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, Family Owned Since 1978.

Dear Lorraine and family, I and the whole Cuccia family are so very sorry about Betty´s illness and death.
We always enjoyed the visits from her and Tommy. My fond memory was when they came down for my niece´s wedding and stayed to attend my daughter Jackie´s First Holy Communion the next day! I have such a nice photo and Betty,Tom and Jackie on my front lawn! She will be missed. Prayers for your peace and comfort and May She Rest in Peace.
