Helen Lesi Obituary

Helen (Berchulski) Lesi, 90, of Helena Dr., Cromwell, joined her late beloved husband Louis J. Lesi on Saturday Oct. 9, 2010, after a brief illness.
She was born on April 17, 1920, in Higganum, the daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (Dziato) Berchulski.
Prior to her retirement, Helen was a supervisor at Walters Belting in Cromwell, and prior to that a supervisor with the former Frismar Company in Higganum. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening, entertaining, movies, and her dogs. She always loved her coffee and ice cream, the top of her dessert list.
She is survived by her two brothers, George Berchulski of Higganum, Edward Berchulski and his wife Susie of Middletown; sister-in-laws; Sophie Berchulski of Massachusetts, Bernice Berchulski of Higganum, and a brother-in-law, Dominic Pulcini of Deep River, numerous nieces and nephews, and her loving caregivers William and Elsie Quansah. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Stanley Berchulski; and five sisters, Mary Gray, Josephine Minick, Stacia Annino, Eva Giza and Connie Pulcini.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:15 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. John's Church, Cromwell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Helen to a charity of the donor's choice. To share memories or express condolences online, please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
