LOUIS ANNINO

ANNINO, LOUIS V. Louis V Annino, 85, of Middletown, CT died peacefully at Connecticut Hospice of Branford on November 2, 2014. Lou is pre-deceased by his loving wife, Jean Molinati Annino, and his parents James V. Annino and Sebastiana Bartalotta Annino. Lou retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 34 years of service. Lou served in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict and was an active member of Elks. He was an active parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi parish where he was an altar server. Lou was lifelong avid Yankee fan and in his own words, he was “The greatest Yankee fan ever!”. Throughout his life, Lou enjoyed dancing. He was a pupil of the Marie LeRoy Keane School of Dancing in Portland, CT. Lou is survived by his three children, James and his wife Lou-Anne of Branford, daughter Jodie Rotell and her husband Jay of Cheshire and daughter Julie of Middletown. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Thomas and Christopher Annino and Jason and Jessica Rotell. Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning, November 6 from 8:30 - 10:30 at D’Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown, CT, with a mass of Christian Burial immediately following at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm St, Middletown, CT. Burial will follow the service at St. Sebastian’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice of Branford, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405.
