McKenzie Scovill Obituary

McKenzie R. Scovill
McKenzie Robert Scovill passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Tuesday morning Aug 24, 2021. McKenzie was a successful Retail Manager. He loved his job and loved to have fun too! He had many, many friends it was so hard to keep up with all of them. He was one of the funniest people you would ever meet. He loved being at the gym with his trainer and brother Nate Grote.
McKenzie was survived by both his parents Holly C. Scovill of Cromwell and Mark Mathison of Higganum along with his step mother Jennifer Mathison; his brother Noah; his sister Emily Mathison; two brothers Ryan Spada and Zachary O'Neill; his grandparents Ken and Kathy Scovill and Patti and Kevin McNamara and his great grandmother Mary Stamm. McKenzie had many aunts and uncles including his very special aunts and uncle Chrissy and Chris and Elizabeth Mathison. He has wonderful Godparents Peggy Sims and Robert Barone. McKenzie was also survived by his aunt Sarah and uncle Jared Wilson from Hampton, Virginia along with his aunts and uncles Elizabeth and Harold Peterson Jr. of Middletown CT; his aunt and uncle Nancy and Henry Peterson of Oklahoma; his aunt and uncle Stacy and Joseph Barone of East Hampton, CT; his aunt and uncle Peggy and Fred Sims of Cromwell CT; his uncle Robert and aunt Randy Barone of Middletown CT and McKenzie's uncle Kenneth Scovill Jr. of Cromwell CT. McKenzie had very many nieces too many to count. But he loved them all. McKenzie was a wonderful child and a great man at 24 years old. He was way beyond his years and too smart for his own good and that's one thing we will never forget about McKenzie.
McKenzie was predeceased by his great grandparents Ronald and Agnes Scovill of Cromwell CT; great grandparents Harold and Joan Peterson Sr. of Cromwell CT and his brother Keith Heinzman.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 31st from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. Funeral service and burial will be private. To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
