We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Sally. She was a very dear friend of our parents (Leslie, Debbie, Kevin and Sharon Hoyle) and ours as adults. Carrie, Sally and Martha were our favorite part of going to Sebago--they loved children and we have wonderful memories of those good times. Sally would stop and visit us in S. C. on the way to Maine and we were always amazed at her energy and interesting travels and adventures. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family. Leslie (Hoyle) and Charlie Holbrook

Sally was a special lady that had a way of making you feel like family. Sally and Martha were one of my favorite parts of summer here in Maine. I loved hearing about their winters and sending them pictures of the snow back here via e-mail. Going to have lunch with them and then with Sally this summer. Their stories of life and travel were always wonderful. I met them about 8 years ago as their summer cleaning girl and became wonderful friends. I will miss her dearly but have been blessed to of been friends.

Sally was a true lady who was warm and supportive of new teachers. She was a very special person, one of a lost breed of educators. I'm glad to see she had the long retirement she so richly deserved.

Sally is very likely one of the most incredible and unique people I have ever known.....I am so privileged to have been able to know her and call her friend. The lessons she has taught many of us about giving to others are so valuable. What a truly gift fromGod she was to so many of us
