Myrtle Gargano Obituary

Myrtle M. Gargano, 85, of East Haddam and Colchester, widow of the late Arthur Hitriz and the late Guido Gargano, died Monday Oct. 25 at her home. Born April 21, 1925 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Catherine Reedy. Myrtle was a life member of the American Legion Women's Auxilliary in Moodus and a member of the East Lyme and Moodus Grange. Myrtle is survived by her three sons William Hitriz of Colchester, Stephen Hitriz of Moodus and George Gargano of Colchester, a brother William Reedy of Colchester, a sister Edna Burpee of Florida , four grandchildren Marlo, Justin, Katherine, and James, and three great grandchildren Sage, Ayden and Katley. Funeral services and burial will be PRIVATE at the convenience of the family. The Spencer Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. Billy, Steve, George and families,
We were so saddened to read of your mothers passing. Your mom was a wonderful and kind lady and will be greatly missed. We always enjoyed talking to her when she came to the garage. You are all in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time.
