Nancy Karpe Obituary

Nancy Karpe
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nancy Karpe, 73, of Swan Lake Trail in Killingworth, who passed away peacefully with her sister, Suzanne, and her cousin, Bruce, by her side. Nancy was born February 28, 1952, in Middletown, Connecticut. She was predeceased by both her parents, Arline and Robert Karpe. She is survived by her devoted sister, Suzanne; and brother-in-law, Michael Langer of Killingworth; as well as her nephew and nieces: Shawn Langer, Danielle Henderson, and Heather Hood; also, their families include eight beloved great-nieces and great-nephews. Nancy was a loving sister, aunt and sister in-law, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and listening heart touched everyone she met. She was a source of unwavering support, comfort, and love to her family and friends. She shared a special bond with her beloved cats, especially Batman, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Nancy will be remembered for her caring spirit, gentle humor, and the way she made others feel valued and truly heard. She leaves behind cherished family and friends, whose lives are forever better for having known her. Her memory will live on in the stories we tell, the love we hold, and the example of compassion she set each day. Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday (Aug. 19th) at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, Hemlock Dr., Killingworth. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.
