Raymond Adams Obituary
Raymond Kenneth Adams, Sr 90, of Middletown, beloved husband the late Carol (Kiveris) Adams, died Friday, November 5, 2021 at Wadsworth Glen Health Care. He was born in Hamden, son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Phillips) Adams. Raymond was a veteran serving with the US Army. He was employed for 50 years with Revere Cable Manufacturing for 50 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ray was proud of his family, his service and his country. He would often be seen visiting "his spots" around town in his loved Kia. Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond K. Adams and his wife Bridgett Shampang-Adams of Durham, daughters, Cathy Adams and her fiancé Emilo Scamporino of Old Saybrook, April Adams of Middletown, Lisa Adams Jonas and her my fiancé Eric Swanson of Middletown, five grandchildren, Colleen Jonas, Joel Nann, Justin Adams, Kaylle Jonas and Jason Adams. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday November 17 at 12 p.m. at the State Veterans' Cemetery. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Rd. Our deepest sympathy to Cathy, April, Lisa and Ray and their families. Your mom and dad had a wonderful lie together and now they are together again. Will always fond memories of family get togethers with Aunt Carol and Uncle Ray. We are so disappointed that we won’t be able to attend Ray’s funeral, but you will all be in our thoughts.

My condolences to Ray's family. He was a great neighbor and conversationalist. He made me smile. I'll always remember seeing him and his wife leave out happily in their Red, candy apple, SUPER CLEAN, car! I approached them one day at the car.
