Theodore Bartolotta Obituary
Theodore "Ted" Bartolotta, 95, of 1036 Spanish Wells Drive, Melbourne, FL 32940, passed away at home on July 16, 2024 after a brief illness. He was a star athlete at Middletown High School and later at Wesleyan University. He was a former Principal of Glastonbury High School who retired in 1984.
He leaves his wife Evelyn (Evie) after 72 years of marriage, 2 sons, Ted J. and Steven, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, Viera, FL. Burial and Mass at 10am, will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Portland, CT. on September 21, 2024. I am saddened that Mr. Bartolotta has passed away.
Nearly half a century ago, Mr. Bartolotta was my Principal at Glastonbury High School (GHS) -- a man of the highest integrity, a winning smile, and a marvelous sense of humor.
I treasure my memories of Mr. Bartolotta, the other GHS administators and office staff, and the GHS faculty. I was fortunate indeed to have been a Glastonbury High School student back then.
Phillips Andover? Phillips Exeter? Saint Grottlesex?
No.
Give me Glastonbury High School any day -- as long as it was under the leadership of Principal Theodore "Ted" Bartolotta.
Mr. Bartolotta was our guide, our role model, our Endicott Peabody.
My deepest sympathies to Mr. Bartolotta's family.

Ted was the best principal a new teacher could ask for. I loved working with him at Glastonbury High School and will always remember him as a mentor and friend. My sincerest condolences to Evie and family.
