We were very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good friend and traveling companion. He shared our passion for fire engines and helped Andy with finding parts for his restoration work. We will miss him very much. He leaves a big hole.
Our hearts and prayers are with his family.

I couldn't believe when heard bill had passed he was as always when I saw him a few weeks ago. We talked of good times growing up on Middle St. the crazy bikes we built and the "not so safe" buggies he built. I never forgot his laugh while holding on for dear life! to my brother Gerald and me he was a life long friend. To Judy and Charlie and all his family my deepest thoughts and prayers, the Middle St. we knew back then was a very special place.... R.I.P.

Words can not express my sadness for the family. Billy was a wonderful kind man, who would get things done no matter what. Billy, I will always remember your smiling face and kind ways. My condolences to his wife, his father Charlie, sister Judy, Charlie, Erin and daughter Lindsey as well as the step children he influenced along the way. Gone too soon, but forever in your hearts.

Judy and family, so sorry for your loss. My husband had the benefit of growing up with your family and share so many wonderful memories. Bill drove by the day our big oak tree crashed across our driveway, he unselfishly got out his chain saw and helped us clear our path. The world needs more people like Bill, so even keeled and kind! Irish eyes smiling.

My sincere condolences to Bill's wife, children and family. I was heartbroken to hear the tragic news. Though the years had distanced us and we saw each other only once in a while in passing. When we did see each other, after talking, my thoughts would always return to a time in my young life when the Mcinerney family would let me be a barnyard cat on the farm. Billy gave me his friendship, he showed me a young farmer's life and logic, and he and his dad showed me what a work ethic was. That time on the Mcinerney farm, in my young life, are some of my fondest memories growing up. Billy did not suffer fools as the old saying goes. I actually admired that and learned to watch and learn as he so easily figured things out and just did it. I even admired the way he built model cars and raced his slot cars. To his entire family I am eternally grateful to have had the time I had with him, to his mom and dad for letting me be around so much, feeding me, and giving me a ride home, knowing I would be there the next day waiting to see what this day would bring on the farm. My heart is sad because of the saying goodbye to him and the sadness for his family. Yet, if it had not been for his life mine would have been lacking these wonderful memories. I celebrate through tears his life. Chick Cubeta

You are a great man Billy Mac. My condolences to Susan, Judy and Charlie, Charlie Sr. and all the youngsters. That was quite a nice job restoring your 30ft plus antique fire truck. Thanks for helping to clear my lot in 1986. That was a big fire you made. Smile on your face. Gone too soon.
