Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Special Olympics of Maryland (www.somd.org).
Arrangements are by Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, Chestertown, www.fhnfuneralhome.com

I enjoyed working with Ben when he was at Pupil Services in Kent
County and I was at Kent County High School. He always cared about doing his best to serve the students and families.

Memories are so numerous---hilarious, sentimental, some even ridiculous; but too many to recall in such small space. Ben was a MEMORABLE person! From his beginning as a resource teacher to his 10-year stint as our principal, we at WES found a caring, empa-
thetic colleague who was not only flexible but also encouraged creativity. His laughter echoing in the hallways always made us smile. The "guy with the tie" will be sorely missed, but we are blessed for having known him.
