GEORGE WALTERS Obituary

GEORGE WALTERS George Edward Walters, beloved husband of Carol Walters, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 3 at 2:30 pm. George was 83 and died of a very rare form of cancer. He is survived by two sons, Eric and Mark Walters, their wives, Mary and Wendy Walters, and seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. George spent most of his career as an engineer but retired into teaching math at the Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, TX. George was loved by so many at SAGU where he worked until his retirement at age 80, as well as those from Gateway Church in Midlothian where George and his wife attended and served for 15 years. George will be greatly missed by family and many friends.

Linda and I were classmates with George (Kewanna High School Class of "59" . We are so sorry to learn of his passing. Carol, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. In school, George was always the inquisitive mind. It makes sense that he was an engineer and math teacher. He will be missed.
