Helen J. Saulen

Helen J. (Andreola) Saulen, 98, of Milford, passed away December 15, 2016 at Countryside Health Care Center in Milford. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Saulen who passed away in 1994. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Matteo and Jennie (Celozzi) Andreola and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was educated in the Milford schools. Mrs. Saulen retired in 1983 from the former Westborough State Hospital where she was employed as a nurses aide. She was also employed at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Womens Club and a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She is survived by her son Michael Zaloba of Sandy UT, one sister, Regina Mainini of Milford, two grandchildren, Adam Zaloba of Sandy UT, Tamara Sizer of NH, two great-grandchildren, Dominic Sizer and John Sizer both of NH, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, John Andreola, Attilio Andreola, Rita Andreola, Lana Yolanda Medeiros, Clara Luke and Ann Baggio. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 10:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
