Thomas Berardi Obituary

Thomas P. Berardi, age 63, of Hudson, formerly of Milford and Hopedale died on Sunday, March 14th in his home, surrounded by his family, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Tom was born on March 22, 1957, the son of the late Salvatore (Sully) and Marie (McKinley) Berardi of Milford. Tom and his brother Al owned and operated Berardi Automotive in Milford for over 30 years. He previously worked at his father and uncles business, Berardi Brothers Autobody. Tom was passionate about building and fixing things, and he enjoyed helping other people with their projects. He loved vacationing on Cape Cod, especially Eastham. Thomas is survived by his loving companion, Cathy Goodwin, of Maine; his daughters: Krista Berardi of Hopedale and Kasey Berardi of Boston; his brothers: Albert Berardi and his wife Sandra of Wayland and William Berardi and of his wife Erin of Grafton and also his four nieces and nephews: Jeff Berardi and Emily Berardi of Wayland, Seana Berardi of Holliston and Dimitri Berardi of Worcester. Tom is also survived by his aunt, Barbara Berardi, many cousins, and a multitude of friends. He was predeceased by many aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford. Face coverings and physical distancing required. Tom was the nicest neighbor we could have ever had.always willing to listen and eager to welcome newcomers to neighborhood. Sat with my mom under carport a lot and after she passed told me she was inspiration to him.that meant a lot to me and tom you are the inspiration with your long fought battle.rest in peace.you made a difference in your life!!
