James Bradley Obituary

James R. Bradley, age 73, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on June 23, 2025. He was born on February 07, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York, to William and Mary Bradley.
James R. Bradley proudly served in the United States Army for [23] years, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3. During his distinguished military career, James most notably served during Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne brigade, served with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (Old Guard) and graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP). James Bradley earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Flight Surgeon Badge, Expert Field Medical Badge, Parachute Badge and Air Assault Badge. His awards include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medals, Army Commendation Medals and the Army Achievement Medal.
After retiring from the Army, James continued his work as a Physician Assistant with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. James was an active member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade Association, the 101st Airborne Division Association, the 82nd Airborne Division Association, the Old Guard Association, Military Officers Association, Disabled American Veterans Association and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. James will forever be remembered for his kindness, leadership, dedication and devotion to his family and country.

James R. Bradley is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, his three children and their spouses: Colleen and Robert Bundy of Georgia, Erin and Chris Torres of Texas and Seamus and Blaire Bradley of Washington, his 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and brothers Joseph Bradley and Dennis Bradley. He was preceded in death by his siblings William, Edward, Michael, James, John, Edward and William and sisters Maureen and Patricia.

Internment with military honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on October 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, all are welcome to join the family at their home in New Port Richey, Florida to share memories and refreshments.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Hudson Florida, in James's memory.
James will forever be remembered for unwavering dedication to his country, his devotion to his family, and his generosity to his community. We love you, Jim. FACTA NON VERBA.
