When visiting, even as a little boy, Vera always went out of her way to mover to ask me how I was doing. I remember her larger than life smile and her chicken! My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family, and most of all to Don and Bonnie, and to Judy and Diane who were more my contemporaries. Blessings On Your Way to the Woehrmyer and Puthoff Families.

With heavy hearts, those left behind will have to learn to adapt to the empty spot that Vera once claimed. That spot holds so many wonderful memories for you all to cling to. Dear Judy, Dianne, Ken, Jay, Sue, Bill and all other family members.

I just learnt of Mom’s death. We are so sorry. Ed and I send our sympathies to all. Now, she is at Rest. Peace be with you Vera.

I have many great and fond memories of Vera. She was a caring, kind, and dear lady who always wore a warm and loving smile whenever we met. My Mom, Aunt Leona and Vera had a special relationship. Besides the usual, I recall them sharing their wig stories, their wig suggestions, wig prices. Later I also shared with Vera my adventures with wig wearing.

Vera and I exchanged Christmas cards with notes to each other. A couple of years ago a card was returned with “ no longer at this address. “. Since then I Have kept track of Vera via Bev Weekly, especially after she attends the Puthoff’s Lunch Bunch.

Our thoughts and prayers are for Vera’s family members as they mourn her loss.

I ran into Vera for the first time in Wagner's IGA, (as my Father Virg Fullenkamp and Melvin are first cousins), I believe Vera knew more about me than I do myself. Was a great 10-15 minutes of conversation, I felt as if we knew each other forever. Mark Fullenkamp
