Dennis Douglas Gordon, 82, of Missoula, Mont., passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Anthony Parish with interment at St. Mary's-Turner Cemetery.

Dennis was a friend, co-author of three books, business partner,
fellow military historian, fellow member of Save the Fort, fellow
founder of the Rocky Mtn Museum of Military History, Co-Chariman
of the Annual Original Missoula Gun and Antique Show for 20 years.
fellow publisher of The Doughboy News letter for 20 years and premier
historian of the Lafayette Escadrille. A friend, partner, and fellow WW1
Historian for 52 years. I will miss him much in the coming years,
and may he find peace and a contented soul in the heavens.
