Nancy Christina Serba
Nancy Christina Serba of Missoula passed away on April 7, 2024 at her winter home in Wickenburg, Arizona.
Born and raised in Eureka, MT, Nancy grew up with parents William and Helen Bolen, as well as two brothers and three sisters.
Nancy married Walt Serba and together they raised a son Will and daughter Nicole.
Nancy was an amazing lady who sprinkled laughter and joy wherever she went. She enjoyed teaching elementary school. She found later successes in various direct sales companies. She was very fond of her book club, keeping up with sorority sisters, gardening, playing Scrabble with her sisters, and travelling.
Nancy and Walt enjoyed their time in Missoula as well as their summers in Trout Creek and winters in Wickenburg where she made friends wherever she went.
Later in life Nancy would be diagnosed with cancer, and she became known as the woman who bravely looked adversity in the eye and overcame her ailments many times.
Nancy's family and friends wish to celebrate her life with joy and fond memories of an extraordinary woman who brought joy to so many. Her legacy of hope, faith and determination will live on in all who were lucky enough to call her sister, wife, friend, and mother.
Rosary for Nancy will be June 20 at 12:30 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Missoula followed by Mass at 1:00. Please join her family and friends at a potluck luncheon after the church service at the Meadowlark covered picnic area in the Fort Missoula Park Complex.

Nancy was my first "foreign" friend, she living in Eureka and me in Missoula. We met and connected during school basketball tournaments and became pen pals during high school. The friendship lasted a lifetime. Rest in Peace, lady.
