Warren Jay Kingdon
Warren Jay Kingdon of Lolo, Montana passed away on Friday August 20, 2021. Warren was born on April 12th, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jay and Lorraine Kingdon. Warren grew up in a loving home where he was active in sports, scouting and church. He achieved rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America at the age of 15. Warren enlisted in the United States Army in 1966. While in the Army he earned numerous awards and medals, including the National Defense Service Award.
Following his military service, Warren enrolled in the University of Utah where he graduated with his bachelors degree and began his career as a pharmacist in 1971. While in college, he met and married Judy Lynn Kingdon on March 24, 1967. They moved to Fountain Valley California where they started a family and and welcomed three kids into the world, Lisa Marie, Michelle Lynn, and Warren Jeffrey. Warren was an excellent father and coach to his sons baseball team and boy scout troop. Warren had numerous leadership roles in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
After the passing of his wife Judy, Warren retired and was reunited with his high school sweet heart Donya Marie. Warren and Donya were married May 1, 2017 and started a life together n Lolo, Montana. Warren enjoyed his retirement by servinginc on the Lolo Community Council, the community center board, Missoula Food Bank volunteer, Commander of American Legion Chief Joseph Post 135 and 2nd Vice Commander of The American Legion Squadron 135.
Warren and Donya started a family owned and operated business, Wild Bean Espresso of Lolo.
Warren is preceded in death by his parents Jay Goss Kingdon and J. Lorraine Illingsworth, his wife of 50 years, his son Jeffrey Kingdon, and his sister Susie Kingdon.
Warren is survived by his loving wife Donya Marie Kingdon, his 11 children, Lisa, Michelle, Cindy, David, Darrell, Daniel, Shanna, Heather, Holli, Tiana, his sister Jenna Lynn Carpenter (Terry), and 46 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many friends who have become part of the family.
Warren will be remembered by many as a charming, handsome, kind hearted man and by all whose life that he touched.
