Dawn Lambertz Obituary

Dawn (Pattison) Lambertz, 63, of Harrisburg, SD, passed away May 23, 2025, at her home under hospice care provided by her husband and son. Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, August 16, at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell, with a luncheon and time of fellowship to follow at the James Valley Community Center. Dawn was born on March 21, 1962, in Mitchell, SD, the daughter of Jerry and Ruby (Shrake) Pattison. She grew up in Mitchell and graduated from Mitchell High School. She then attended Black Hills State College and earned a degree in art. Dawn attended Stewarts Beauty School. When she finished school, she was an instructor and manager for Stewarts. She then took her well-developed beautician and people skills to the Agape' Salon, where she operated her own booth for over 20 years. Dawn married Greg Lambertz, Jr. on September 22, 2018, and they settled in Harrisburg. Dawn continued working at the salon until her health sidelined her just a few weeks before she passed away. Dawn enjoyed playing golf and loved animals, especially cats, and had several as pets over the years. Dawn will be remembered for her outgoing personality and her devotion to family and friends. She enjoyed keeping in touch by phone and Facebook. Dawn is survived by her husband, Greg, Jr.; son, Austin; mother, Ruby of Mitchell; two siblings, Don (Cindy) Pattison of Bartlett, IL and Scott (Linda) Pattison of Chamberlain; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry.
