God's speed Sena. John and you were like family when I was in CO. John was a class act with a great sense of humor. I truly enjoyed the time spent with you two, your horses and dogs in Colorado's high country.

John's long time Fred and I had spent many good times with John and Sena in SD and AZ. Hunting and fishing were often part of those times and John taught me a lot in both categories. His kind demeanor will be missed by many. Condolences to Sena and all.

Condolences, Sena and family. John was an amazing man and touched many lives in a very positive way. I feel very lucky to have gotten to know him and spend time in the saddle. He was a very intelligent and gentle soul, with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly mised.

My condolences to John's family. He was President of National College while I was a student there, and Nancy taught me to speak in public without collapsing from stage fright.

I first met John at NAU. A few years later I started guiding hunters with John and the Turkey Track Club. I always admired John for his honesty in the hunt. He always put doing the right thing ahead of just the filling of a tag. When things came up that were questionable, John took the high road, ALWAYS! That meant a great deal to both the hunters and the guides.
I had the opportunity to visit John and Sena in Moab a number of years ago and they were so gracious and welcoming. I thank them for their kindness.
Thank you for sharing John with the world, we are better for knowing him!
