1939 ~ 2024
Patricia "Pat" Horton passed away peacefully September 14, 2024. She was born April 25, 1939, in Grand Junction, CO, to Mary and Vernon Davis. She married the love of her life, Leonard Horton, on January 20, 1957, and they moved to LaSal, UT, and later Moab, UT, where Leonard preceded her in death in 1985.
Pat lived out her life in Moab where most would see her working at Walker Drug. A job she proudly held for 30 years. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world and she will be dearly missed.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Mary Benson & Vernon Davis. Her sisters, Mary Ann Vanlandingham and Barbara (Cookie) Halstead and her soul mate Leonard Horton.
She is survived by her sister Carol Weatherholt and brother Bill Benson; her children, Irene Wagner (David), Leonard Horton (Becky), Susan Thompson, Debbie Henderson (Chuck), and Scott Horton (Jennifer) along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Spanish Valley Mortuary on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4-6pm. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:30 am at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery.
