Andres (Andy) Mangaser of Modesto, CA., passed away June 4, 2012. He was born in Manila, Philippines, the youngest son of four.
He is survive by his children; daughters Jennifer and Jacqueline, sons Jeffrey and Jay. daughter-in-law Eileen and 2 grandchildren, Sarah and William.
Andy loved to cook all sorts of Filipino food, which he generously shared with family and friends. He enjoyed ballroom dancing with his friends a couple of times a week.
He was a friendly, loving and spiritual man, who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A Memorial service (viewing) will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 4pm - 6pm at Evins Funeral Home, 1219 7th Street, Modesto, CA 95350. There will be a mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4212 Dale Road, Modesto, CA 95356, Friday, June 8, 2012, 10am.

I was saddened to learn the passing away of Andy. I came to know him when I was and lived in NJ decades ago. I lost track of him when I relocated to Virginia. As far back as I can remember, he was a good human being whose state of mind was set and directed on what is best for his children, neglecting in the process of what is good for him. I personally knew this for I had been once his friend and a consultant to all and his every family matter. May his soul rests in eternal peace!
