Antone S. Dias passed on April 2, 2023 at 3:20 a.m. with his wife of 43 years, Peggy, at his side. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and mother of his four children, Donelda Linbeck Dias; his sisters, Mary Amaral, Pauline Azevedo; and his brothers, Manuel Coito, Frank Coit; and his granddaughter-in-law, Nicole Dias.
Along with his wife, Peggy, he is survived by his children, Marc (Lee Ann) Dias, Michael (Rhonda) Dias, Michele Dias, Matthew Dias; his step-children, Cheryl Adams, Lori (Robert) Harpell, Aaron Vrh; his siblings, Evelyn Damas, Daniel (Barbara) Dias, Richard (Rita) Dias; his grandchildren, Alexis (Stephen) Nascimento, Dominic (Amanda) Dias, Lucas (Lacy) Dias, Ryan (Jessica) Dias, Stacey (Frank) Texieira, his step-grandchildren, Megan (Vishal) Kumar, Andrew Grimm, Elizabeth (Nick) Bond, Nathan Harpell, Devon Vrh and Dillon Vrh; and his 23 great-grandchildren.
Tony served in the navy and was honorably discharged. He went home to work towards starting his own dairy, which he started in 1969. He served with the Western Dairymen Association for many years. When he retired from the dairy business, he began his informal home loan business until the last months of his life. Family and making money to support them were the driving factors of his life.
Please join the family for a memorial service on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA 95382 in the Main Chapel.
