Antonio Toste

ANTONIO (TONY) TOSTE OCT 1923 ~ JUNE 2010 Tony Toste ~ 86 of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, with his family by his side. He was born in Tipton, CA to Manuel and Maria Toste in 1923. In 1935 his family moved to the Azores. He moved back to California and worked for AC Transit before retiring at the ageof 56, in Stevinson, CA. He is a member of many catholic organizations, he enjoyed gardening, traveling in his motor home, and spending time with his family; especially his three grandchildren. Tony is survived by his wife Adelina Toste, daughter's; Brenda (Scott Norquist) Toste of Denair, Janet (Duarte) Monteiro of Fremont, three grandchildren; Madison Norquist, Eric Monteiro and Amanda Lingle. Tony is preceded in death by his first wife Angela Toste, and sisters, Erma Azevedo and Maria T. Machado. Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary, Friday, June 25, 2010 from 10:00am to 1:00pm, a Rosary and Mass will follow at 2:00pm, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar. The graveside service will be Saturday, June 25 at 11:00am, at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 1051 Harder Rd, Hayward, Ca.
