Ballico, California - Betty C. Roberts, 88, of Ballico passed away on May 22, 2025.
Betty dedicated her career to education, first in San Bruno, then Mountain View, and ultimately, Turlock High School. For 13 years, Coach Roberts built lasting relationships with fellow THS teachers and student athletes alike. She was an active member of the DAV Auxiliary, NEA, Turlock Sunshine Club, ABUW, and the Turlock Senior Citizens. Most treasured of all of her relationships, Betty's 48 years of loving marriage to Leonard Roberts remained her most cherished. Life, together, was their greatest, happiest adventure!
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard; her parents, John and Edna; her brother Harold; and her stepson Mike. She is survived by stepchildren Kurt (Patricia) Roberts and Pat (Lamont) Olson; daughter-in-law Laura (Mike); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, their children; and many beloved friends.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Turlock Funeral Home. Please wear bright, cheery colors in honor of Betty's beautiful life!
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity, Quilts of Honor, or Plant-a-Tree Reforestation efforts. Plantatree.fs.usda.gov
