Bruce Carlton Cramer

November 17, 1952 - November 1, 2025

Modesto, California - In Loving Memory – Bruce Cramer, November 17, 1952 – November 1, 2025.

Bruce was a beloved & devoted son, husband, brother, father, uncle and grandfather. He left behind his mother, Dorothy Cramer; sister, Cindy Flaherty; wife, Tracy Cramer; 3 children – Chrystee, Bryan and Joshua (Brittany), 5 grandchildren – Rhyson, Chrystopher, Dalaynee, Tristan & Madelyn, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends. His father, Richard Cramer, and brother, M. David Cramer, preceded him in death.

Bruce lived his life with a quiet strength and a love for the outdoors that inspired everyone around him. Whether he was trekking along a mountain trail with his backpack, spending a sunny afternoon on the golf course, or sharing laughs at the bowling alley, he found joy in simple pleasures and in the company of others.

He was a man who valued adventure and laughter, who taught his family the importance of perseverance, kindness, and finding beauty in every journey. His sense of humor, his stories from the trail or rutabagas with the kids and grandkids, and his calm presence will be missed by all who knew him. He loved his family, family get-togethers and the special moments he had with his kids and grandkids!

Bruce had so many adventures and experiences crossed off his "Bucket List". He had lots of loves and passions playing & coaching baseball, the many hikes including a 50 miler & Half Dome, canoeing and camping trips as a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts, he bowled 6 – 300 games, 6 – 11 in a row games & a couple 800 series games, he skydived a few times and would've done more if Tracy would have let him, he & Tracy ballroom danced and was involved with many dance clubs and activities, his quad trips with his cousins & friends, golfing, going to the gun range, both snow skiing & water skiing, gadgets and tools, he traveled and toured Europe & Mediterranean a couple times, Alaska and Hawaii a few times and many other states, exploring castles, history channel, he had a love affair with food, snacks & especially crab feeds – his birthday request this year was to go to the All-You-Can-Eat seafood buffet at the Fruit Yard, his wardrobe was 95% olive/sage green, the monthly camping trips he & Tracy shared with the travel trailer and 'Big Red', but most of all he loved his cats!

He retired after almost 6 decades, officially just 2 months ago and was loving the freedom to golf, bowl and sleep in, even learning to cook. Bruce was a licensed cabinet contractor with his own shop for 33 of those years.

Your wings were ready but our hearts were not – you will be missed and forever in our hearts!
