Carl Ballantyne Obituary
July 7, 1962 - June 28, 2018
Carl Roy Ballantyne, age 55, was born in Oakland, CA to parents, Jack and Ann Ballantyne. He was a certified welder and graduated from CSU Sacramento. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Colorado and Wyoming. He loved The Lord and generously helped others.
Carl worked hard as a structural/civil engineer for his own business, CB Engineering Inc.
Carl is very loved and greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his brother, David, mother, Ann, and brother-in-law, Mike Henderson.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Jack (Carleta), his wife, Lisa, children, Katie Yardley (Chase), April, Michael, and Jake, and his siblings, Connie, Cathy (Bill), and John (Jenny).
Memorial services are on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the LDS Chapel, 800 Sylvan Ave., Modesto, CA.

Carl is a very loving human being. He loves his family very much and is kind to those around him. Service to others is one of his greatest attributes. He is a man worthy of imitation

The Chin Family has been greatly blessed by Carl!!! Now...our husband and father (Darryl Chin) has been able to thank Brother Ballantyne personally...and express his deep and heartfelt gratitude for the watch-care, service, and support your husband, father, brother, and son...gave our family (especially Thomas and Michael with their Boy Scout Merit Badges and advancement!!).
We knowfrom our experience in losing Darrylhow sustaining the many, MANY, prayers offered for each (and ALL!) of you will be in the days and weeks to come. Our prayers and love are also with each of you.
