Chris was a dear and true friend. He was a big part of my growing up in Milwaukee and sharing our youthfull years together. His smile and laughter will always be here with us. I was blessed to have shared many road miles on the local basketball courts with him. The Saturday games at Holy Redeemer's gym where great times.
A heartfelt condolence to his family. Our thoughts and prayers for all.
"T-bone" will always soar high in our mind and hearts.

We were saddened today to hear of Chris' passing. He had become a friend at the Marin Farmers' Market. We enjoyed our stops at his stand. He was our favorite vendor. We talked sports and family, and we always laughed together. We will miss him. Our condolences to the the family.

I did my weekly shopping at the Marin farmers market and ,as I have for many many years, my first stop was to buy my asparagus .To my suprise Chris was not there ,the second week in a row,so unlike him.I remarked that during the height of the asparagus season he is taking a vacation?

Every week after asparagus season ended, I would ask Chris "how many days?" and he would reply 210, or 156, or 58 or whatever. He was the highlight of my visit to the Marin Farmers Market. I will miss him. I am sorry for all.

I too knew Chris from the Sunday Farmer's Market. He was unfailingly courteous and helpful. He had an amazing memory -- he remembered things from months earlier, even minor things. He had a great sense of humor and the intelligence that goes with it.
Over the 8 years I've shopped there we became friends -- we were both long-time (and long-suffering) Giants fans. How I looked forward to seeing him and asking what was going on with the baserunning mistakes or what he thought of a minor league prospect. How glad I am that he was able to experience the SF Giants winning their first World Series.
He had an affect on all who knew him. I miss him very much. My sympathies to his family and friends and all who loved him.

Every February, he would always give me the heads up when the official Asparagus season would start. Everyone will miss Chris. My healing thoughts to Donna and the family. Rebecca (San Rafael, CA)

We were shocked today to hear of Chris' passing when we went to the Marin Farmers Market. He was one of our favorite vendors and we shared many stories. He always remembered what we did for a living and asked about our business. He will be missed greatly. Our condolences to his family.
