Dear Family of Cindy,
I had the opportunity to work with Cindy at Community Hospice. She would constantly amaze me with her intelligence. If I ever needed help I knew I could turn to her. She also taught me how to express appreciation of others. I don't think a day passed without Cindy telling someone a positive comment. I am so fortunate and blessed to have known Cindy. I will miss her. Love, Ginger

To the Wirth Family, I had the pleasure of working with Cindy at Community Hospice a couple of years ago. She was one of a kind. I always admired her and the rest of the Angels who worked there. However, Cindy stood out with her kindness & compassion. Even when she found out she was ill she kept her concern for the patients. Cindy was always an Angel but now she has her wings. God Bless your family

I wanted to just pass along my sympathies to you during this time. Everyone I've ever described Cindy to heard first and foremost that she truly was the nicest person I've ever met on this planet. Sometimes I used to want to say to her "I'm not as great a person as you think I am" because she truly believed in the good in you and made you want to believe in the good in yourself. She made me want to be a nicer, better person knowing I could never measure up to her grace and kindness. Her loss puts a little scar in this world and I, like everyone else, will miss her.

Dear Wirth Cousins: Bob, Suzie, Liz and Bob, Jr.
I was sorry to hear that your much loved daughter and sister, Cynthia, died June 1st. I have good memories of Cynthia making the traditional Wirth version of Ambrosia fruit salad with her for the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and Easter) when our families got together for meals. Cindy's patience, kindness, gentleness and listening ears and heart will be missed by me. Your family is in my prayers during this time of loss and transition.
God bless,

I will always remember Cindy's kind and loving heart, her sweet smile, her gentleness, and her quiet enthusiasm celebrating Reese's first agility trial successes, and encouraging me to celebrate mine with my little slow Corgi. We really had some fun classes together, and I feel privileged that God put her in my path here on earth. She was a jewel in this life and will be a treasure in heaven.

Bob, Suzie, Liz, Bob Jr. and all of Cindy's family..May God Bless you.

I'm already missing Cindy so much. We've had many happy walks and talks at the dog park together. I can't believe she's gone already. She was truly one of the gentlest souls and kindest hearts who ever existed. I shall miss her for years to come. Rest in peace Cindy, and I look forward to seeing you again someday.

Cindy was a gentle soul. We are so glad for the time that we had with her. From our trips to the fair, to dinner at Kerry's, to agility classes, we were truly blessed.

Sweet, sweet Cindy. I had the pleasure of working with her at VNA and Community Hospice. Cindy has the gentlest spirit, I will truely miss her quiet, soft smile.
Every night I work at the Hospice House now I can see Cindy taking our pt's hand as they pass and escorting them through the gates of Heaven.
Our community, both two and four legged, has suffered a great loss.
Sweet Cindy, you are missed so much.

To Cindy’s family,

It is indeed a shock to hear of Cindy’s passing from this earth. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you.

Cindy and I became friends through one of our passions—dogs—specifically, Labradors. We enjoyed agility classes and competitions together, even having the good fortune to teach together for a time. We attended conformation shows with our Labs, serving as “support persons” to each other, both “newbies” to the world of showing.

Cindy’s kind, gentle demeanor was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her intelligence and thirst for knowledge was second to none—always the interested listener, the patient giver, even when she herself sought out advice. As we struggled through that difficult agility skill or evaluated a new litter of Labrador puppies, Cindy humbly offered up her knowledge and quietly assimilated new information. Her wisdom and camaraderie will be missed by all of us.

She was truly an angel among us; her sweet presence will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest peacefully, my friend.

Love,

Nancy

Cindy was/will always be the kindest, most gentle soul I will ever know. Her physical presence will be missed immensely. I am so blessed to have been one of her many friends and a member of The Literary Dogs book club of which we just finished a selection of hers. I will also have such wonderdul memories of our many dog agility classes and events and many dog walks and talks. Sophie Jo will miss her backyard and Emma and Reese so much. She is/was absolutely the best model for a dog mom ever. It's so difficult to take these first few steps in a new life without her smile and warm heart. We will endure with her memory. Cindy, you are so loved and thank you for loving me. Tam and Sophie Jo

To the family of Cindy,
I was shocked and saddened to see Cindy's obituary in today's Modesto Bee. We attended CSU Stanislaus together and graduated at the same time. Since we were both biology majors we had a number of classes together and were lab partners at least once (in organic chem). We used to run into each other from time to time when she was in town from the Bay Area when she lived/worked there, but it's been years since I've seen her. I was also friends w/ her mother, Nancy, since Nancy & Bob were "my" host family a number of times when I was a teacher/coordinator for Japanese students and they were one of "my" host families. Nancy and I would see each other at the Great Valley Museum and she'd keep me up on what Cindy was doing -- but that stopped of course, when Nancy passed. I remember Cindy as a sweet, calm, brilliant, incredibly talented person. It doesn't surprise me that she ultimately became a nurse -- I know she was an awesome one. Though I haven't seen Cindy for years, she has a special place in my heart and I will mourn her. My thoughts are with all of you. . .Denise
