Daniel Rubalcava Obituary

Daniel Rubalcava
February 7, 1962 - January 8, 2021
Modesto, California - On Friday, January 8, 2021, Daniel Adolf Rubalcava, loving brother and son, passed away at the age of 58. Daniel was born on February 7, 1962 in Hanford CA to Tony Robert Rubalcava and Julia Chaparro Rubalcava. He attended Thomas Downey High school, and owned a pool cleaning business for over 20 years. Although he had no children of his own, Danny loved kids and left an unforgettable impression on many young ones within his family and on those of his close friends, becoming a god-father to several. Danny loved to spend time with his friends and family, always joking and teasing. Known for his big heart and generosity, he considered everyone a friend. He had a deep passion for music and sports. Danny attended numerous rock concerts and football games, treating those close to him to many fun, memorable road trips. On January 26, 2003, he achieved his life long dream of attending the Super Bowl and watching his Raiders play for the championship. Unfortunately, he left heart broken but also accomplished. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Tony, and his brother Robert Austin. He is survived by his mother, Julia, his five brothers Mark, Randy, Michael, Anthony, Manuel, and his sister, Cynthia Posadas. A zoom memorial service is being prepared by the family. For more information, please contact one of his family members.

I remember playing basketball with Danny at LaLoma Jr. High. He was always one of the funniest guys around. Loved to have fun and was friendly to everyone. After I got married, I ended up buying a house across the street from one of his brothers (I think it was Randy). Gonna miss you, Bro!
