Dariush Ansari Obituary

Dariush Henry Ansari

September 10, 1932 - January 20, 2024

Turlock, California - In loving memory of our beloved father, Dariush Henry Ansari, who peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Born in Esfahan, Iran, he spent his childhood in Esfahan and Urmia, where he instilled a lifelong passion for love and respect for family and friends, a zest for life, passion for sports, service to mankind, and love for the beauty of nature, geography, and politics. He pursued his passions through service for his beloved Iran in various royally-appointed government positions, including Governor of Gilan, during Shah Pahlavi's reign.

While exceptionally accomplished, Henry considered his family the most important thing in his life. Henry and Suzy were childhood sweethearts, sharing a pure love that blossomed into a long and happy marriage of 62 years.

His legacy lives on through his spouse Suzy, daughter Jinous Ansari Vartan, son-in-law Sargon Tony Vartan, grandchildren Kristin and Sean Vartan, and brother Cyrus Ansari. A celebration of life service will be held on January 30, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Turlock Memorial Mortuary Chapel.
